A BOY. JAIPUR. AND LEOPARDS
Our story began in the royal city of Jaipur, where Hemant Dabi, the founder of World Wild Safaris, first discovered his fascination with leopards. What started as curiosity soon became a lifelong pursuit following tracks, reading landscapes, and spending countless hours in the wilderness understanding the elusive cats that call Rajasthan home.
Over the years, those journeys turned into an extraordinary depth of knowledge. Hemant’s understanding of leopard behaviour, individual animals, and the landscapes they inhabit has earned him recognition as one of Rajasthan’s most experienced naturalists. His expertise has also taken him behind the scenes of wildlife filmmaking, including as Field Producer on the globally acclaimed documentary Leopard Dynasty – The Rise of Rana.
World Wild Safaris began humbly, with a single Gypsy and a deep-rooted passion for the wild. Today, that passion has grown into a collective built around knowledge, experience, and a belief that the best safaris are the ones that bring you closer to the wild not just to see it, but to understand it.
This isn’t a story built over generations. It’s a story still being written with roots that run deep, and a journey that is only just beginning.

Our Mission
At World Wild Safaris, we believe that the most powerful way to care for wildlife is to first understand it. Our mission is to create meaningful encounters that bring travellers closer to Rajasthan’s wild places, its wildlife, and the communities that share these landscapes.
Through thoughtfully curated safaris, we aim to turn fascination into awareness and awareness into a deeper respect for the natural world.
From choosing the right destination and timing to working with experienced naturalists and trusted local partners, every journey is shaped with purpose. We bring together intimate wildlife experiences, exceptional hospitality, local knowledge, and seamless planning to create safaris that stay with you long after you leave the wilderness.
